Lindenfeld is a newly publicized Post Rock/Metal band from Romania, which was formed in 2021 by Ion Ureche (Sylvanshine, Lineae), Erwin Weber (Pâenil Era, Paint for the Blind, Vaarcloc) and Daniel Cristea.
The name Lindenfeld comes from an abandoned village in western Romania and translates to a 'field of linden trees'. Both representations give an aura of abandonment and solitude, which intends to be echoed in their music.
28th of July 2023, they unveiled their first release, which is a single named 'Departure'. The song is available on all major streaming platforms.
