Out on November 26th, ‘The Braids’ is the newest single from Romanian post-black metal project ‘Pâenil Era’. Incorporating progressive and post-rock elements, this new single explores the cyclic duality of time and how one deals with the weight of never-ending cycles.
Pâenil Era is a post-black metal / atmospheric black metal project from Timisoara, Romania. The name represents an anagram of the Romanian words ‘Pâlnie Rea’, which translates to ‘Bad Funnel’. Symbolizing a broken or partly functional filter that takes in a flow of subconscious dark thoughts, it represents an attempt to connect with the subconscious and give a voice to the dark side of the psyche.
